Grab a mountain bike and pedal your way through the varied landscape of the Dunes on a 26 kilometer route. This medium-difficult route is known as one of the most varied and challenging MTB routes in the Netherlands!
Medium heavy
A route with lots of singletracks, short climbs, loose sandy sections and very few paved sections. The trail falls into the "medium heavy" category. During the construction of the route, account was taken as much as possible of vulnerable plants, erosion-sensitive ridges and drift dunes with ancient, half-grown oak trees. Consideration was also given to the safety and amenity value of other visitors.
Sticker required
A sticker is required for the MTB route. You can buy a day pass at € 7 per bike. If you come mountain biking more often, it is more convenient to buy an annual sticker (€ 16.50) This is valid for the year stated on the sticker. The sticker must be clearly visible on your helmet or frame. From the proceeds, Natuurmonumenten pays for the maintenance of the route. The stickers also give access to the MTB routes in the National Park Veluwezoom and nature reserve Bergherbos. The sticker and the free MTB route leaflet are available at Natuurpoort Herberg Manege van Loon (no day passes) or via https://www.natuurmonumenten.nl/mtb/dagpas.
